About
Active Home Collective is about the ways people move, play and share space at home. We cover ordinary rooms and routines, looking for ideas that readers can adapt to their own households without turning home life into a performance plan.
What belongs here
Our subjects include low-key movement breaks, indoor games, the flow of a room, shared-use spaces and habits that make active moments easier to remember. We favour ideas that need little preparation and do not depend on buying special equipment.
Who we write for
We write for people who want home to accommodate both rest and activity, whether they live alone, share with others or have a busy household. Advice is framed as an option to consider, not a rule for how a home should look or how active someone should be.
Our approach
Each topic starts with a clear question: what choice is being made, what might it change, and what is a reader able to try safely for themselves? We explain terms in plain language, make room for different homes and routines, and avoid claims that a single method suits everyone.
A home can invite you to move
Activity at home need not mean special equipment or a packed schedule. We look for the everyday openings: a clear patch of floor, a game that gets everyone involved, or a routine with room to stretch and-
